About Us

Adrian and Suki lead busy lives building and running care homes in Lancashire, they felt in need of time out. A friend had just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable two weeks in Turkey so Suki thought it might be a good idea to follow this example and booked a week in a pension in Calis Beach. This was going to be a week of doing absolutely nothing other than sitting on a beach drinking cool beers.

We arrived at the pension in Calis just as the sun was setting and were completely mesmerised by the beauty of it. Cafer suggested that perhaps in the morning we would like to view some property that was for sale. Two days later after many viewings a villa with planning permission for another villa was purchased, the rest of the week was spent employing an accountant, builder, architect and agent, not to mention many telephone calls to the very important bank manager. The beach, which was only yards away from the pension, was never once graced with our company and the week's holiday to rest and recoup became a world wind of excitement. This just goes to show how Turkey gets to you.

We returned home to report event to our children whose comments were "well we always new you were mad".

Since we purchased the villa and plot, which is now 2 years ago, the new villa has been built and our children and relatives have been on holiday there and can understand now why we acted so rashly.

The Turkish people are so kind and helpful, they love children and for families with young children it is a lovely country to visit.

Each time we go to the villa we come home feeling that we still haven't done or seen all that we wanted to and can't wait to return.
